Our vision is to help small businesses thrive.
Our company – The Mix – began with a conversation about how we could utilize our skills, talents, and creativity to help improve our community. Just a few weeks later The Mix was born! We plan to achieve our goal of assisting the many talented individuals in our area market their talents and products using a mix of media, retail, and art.
Amy Varland
I was born and raised in the Black Hills and can’t think of a better place to live, work, and play. My professional background is in photojournalism. I have more than 10 years’ experience working in local and state media, both on and off-air. (KOTA, KNBN, SDPB). I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in mass communication from Black Hills State University with certificates in journalism and graphic design. I look forward to working with you at The Mix!
Whitney Reiling
Raised in the Black Hills , I spend much of my free time exploring the great outdoors with my son. We enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, and fishing. My professional background is in website development & design, graphic design, tourism and event planning. I have an artistic flair and am excited to use my creativity and experience to help your business thrive!
